1. Data controller

The controller of personal data processed through SI AKIS is the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA), 162 Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt blvd., Chișinău, MD-2004, e-mail: cancelaria@maia.gov.md. Processing is carried out in accordance with Law no. 133/2011 on personal data protection and Government Decision no. 630/2025.

2. Data processed

• Identification data — name, surname, state identification number (IDNP), received through the governmental M-Pass service upon authentication;
• Contact data — e-mail address, phone number, provided by the user in the personal cabinet or the contact form;
• Professional data — qualifications, specializations, activity areas, for advisors listed in the public register and representatives of participating organizations;
• Content data — materials submitted for publication, forum messages, submitted applications;
• Technical data — IP address, access logs and audit trails of actions performed in the system.

3. Purposes of processing

• user authentication and personal cabinet administration;
• maintaining the public register of certified agricultural advisors;
• reviewing and publishing submitted content, administering trainings and events;
• sending notifications through the governmental M-Notify service, at the user's request;
• system security, logging and audit of actions (through the governmental M-Log service);
• producing aggregate statistics that do not allow the identification of individuals.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on compliance with a legal obligation and the performance of a task carried out in the public interest (Government Decision no. 630/2025); for optional contact data and notification subscriptions — on the user's consent, which can be withdrawn at any time from the personal cabinet.

5. Recipients

Within the limits of legal competences, data may be transmitted to the governmental interoperability (M-Connect), logging (M-Log) and notification (M-Notify) platforms, and to entitled public authorities. Data is not transferred for commercial purposes and is not sold to third parties.

6. Storage and security

Data is hosted on the governmental MCloud platform, on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. The platform applies technical and organizational safeguards: encrypted communications (TLS), encryption of sensitive data, role-based access control, action logging and periodic backups.

7. Retention

Data is kept for the lifetime of the account or as long as necessary for the stated purposes. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed, while institutional content published by the user is retained in anonymized form, without the author's identification data. Audit logs are retained according to the terms established by legislation.

8. Data subject rights

You have the right of access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection, as well as the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making. These rights can be exercised from the personal cabinet or by request addressed to MAIA. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection (48 Serghei Lazo str., Chișinău; www.datepersonale.md).
