1. General provisions
The "Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System" (SI AKIS, hereinafter "the platform") is an official service of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, administered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) and established by Government Decision no. 630/2025. Accessing and using the platform implies acceptance of these terms of use.
2. Purpose of the platform
The platform facilitates the exchange of knowledge and innovation in agriculture between farmers, agricultural advisors, training institutions, research organizations, professional associations and public authorities, including through: the public register of certified advisors, the advisory services catalogue, the digital library, the training and events calendars, information on subsidies and grants, and geospatial visualization tools.
3. Access to the platform
The public area of the platform is freely accessible without authentication. The personal cabinet is accessible exclusively through the governmental authentication service M-Pass, based on the user's electronic identity. Users are responsible for keeping their own authentication means confidential.
4. User obligations
- use the platform in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova and these terms;
- provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information in forms and in content submitted for publication;
- refrain from actions affecting the security, integrity or availability of the platform (unauthorized access, scanning, overloading, data tampering);
- not publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, unauthorized advertising, or infringing third-party rights;
- observe the rules of conduct in the community forums and discussion spaces.
5. User-generated content
Content submitted by users (articles, resources, library materials, events) is published only after passing the review and approval workflow established by the platform administrators. MAIA reserves the right to reject, edit or withdraw content that breaches these terms, informing the author. The author remains responsible for the submitted content.
6. Intellectual property
The official content of the platform belongs to MAIA or to the indicated authors and may be reused with attribution unless stated otherwise. Open data published through the dedicated interfaces may be reused under the licence indicated for each dataset. 7. Limitation of liability
The information on the platform is provided for information purposes and does not replace the official acts published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova. MAIA makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy and availability, but is not liable for damages resulting from the use of the information, from planned or unplanned technical interruptions, or from the content of external websites linked from the platform.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be amended; the updated version is published on this page with the date of the update. Continued use of the platform after publication of changes constitutes acceptance.
